The Perfect Thrifting Storm

We are all either one of two things. We're either thrifters who find amazing treasures in a man's trash, or the man with too much stuff. I'm the man with the trash. However, there is an opportunity coming up where I might be able to turn my luck around and hit the thrifter's jackpot!

The YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South is having a Rummage Sale on Saturday, April 6th at Audubon Park Baptist Church Gymnasium in Memphis.

Not only does this rummage sale have potential to have some real thrifting gold, the money raised also goes to a good cause. It goes to the Y-CAP Branch of the YMCA which my fiance (still getting used to that) works for!

Oh, did I mention they're also looking for donations?

So let's recap, you have the opportunity to donate, buy, andddd help a good cause?! Why wouldn't you participate in this?! I mean, does it get any more perfect than that?

Now, if you're like me and always have a few boxes of things waiting to be donated somewhere, you can drop off donated items at Audubon Park Baptist Church Gymnasium at these designated drop off times:

Saturday, March 23rdd -- 10 am to 3 pm
Saturday, March 30th -- 10 am to 3 pm
Thursday, April 4th -- 5 pm to 7 pm
Friday, April 5th -- 11 am to 3 pm

The address is: 4060 Park Avenue, Memphis, TN 3811

They are accepting all kinds of donations! Things as big as furniture and appliances even home decor items, holiday items, and clothing on hangers.

If you are a thrifter who likes to find a good deal (while also helping a good cause). The sale will take place on on April 6th from 6 am to 11:30 and then there will be a 1/2 Price Sale from 12 pm to 1 pm. I mean, how can you possibly miss that?!

If you would like more information about this or questions about donating items, you can either send me an email orr contact Kris Crim at kcrim@ymcamemphis.org.
