12 Days of Memphis Christmas: Starry Nights

Even though I've never personally been, I've heard tons and tons of good things about Starry Nights at Shelby Farms. The park is decorated with more than 1.5 million lights creating the largest light show and Christmas festival in the Mid-South. You can drive through the park admiring all the different displays. I mean, who doesn't love looking at different Christmas lights! In addition to the impressive light displays, in Starry Night's Mistletoe Village there's camel rides, photos with Santa, a petting zoo, and ice sculpting. There's also a "Starry Stage" with live Christmas performances. It definitely promises to be a fun evening for the whole family.

  1. Oooh, I loved going to Starry Nights when I lived in Memphis! It was a family tradition for years! We'd drive through and look at the lights while listening to the tape they gave out (haha cassette, old school) then we'd go out for hot chocolate and rent a Christmas movie afterwards. :) Definitely check it out whenever you get some time!

  2. Have you ever gone on a Monday? I want to walk through it this year instead of drive.

  3. We take the kids every year because we get free tickets from one of the sponsors. It's a lot of fun.
