This weekend I attended my first Bridal Shower!! It was absolutely perfect. For as long as I can remember, Cinderella has been my favorite Disney Princess. Seriously, I have a Cinderella piggy bank in my closet still today... Anywayssss, my Mom and my bridesmaids threw together an amazing Cinderella themed shower for me and it was truly perfect. It incorporated so many of my favorite things. There were Cinderella details, my favorite color mint was everywhere, there was Disney music playing, and I also got to eat my favorite flavor of cake (chocolate with bananas). I felt so loved and feel so honored that I have such incredible people in my lives who made this day so wonderful for me.

All the tables had beautiful picture frames with Cinderella quotes inside.

My Mom collected a bunch of pictures of me with Cinderella from all the trips to Disney World we have taken over the years. Clearly, Cinderella has been my favorite for a very long time.

The favors were incredible. Each person who attended went home with a fragrant mint plant with a hand stamped spoon that said "Mint to Be". After searching Etsy for some hand stamped spoons, my Mom actually decided to make them all on her own!! She found vintage spoons and hand stamped each individual letter. (You're the BEST, Mom!!!) In addition to the plant, there were also little containers of mints to go along with the whole "mint" theme.

My Mom used her wedding dress as decoration! It was a really awesome detail to be included. Before I found my dress, I actually tried my Mom's dress on. I'm glad her dress could be part of my wedding events even if I'm not going to wear it on my wedding day. Plus, it looked JUST like Cinderella's dress! I kept expecting little cartoon birds and mice to come out and start adding ribbons to it.

Since this shower was in New Jersey and I live in Memphis, it didn't make much sense for me to open gifts. Instead, on the invitations, it encouraged everyone to have their gifts sent right to my house. So, at the shower, instead of everyone watching me open gifts, my cousin put together some fun shower games. There was a game all about the Disney Princesses where the guests were given the princesses' pictures and had to write their names, their prince's names, anddd their theme song. We also played a "Purse Scavenger Hunt" game. My favorite game though was the Crossword puzzle. The horizontal clues were all about me and Jeremy (and my blog!) anddd the vertical clues were about Elvis! It was so us and so perfect!! Kim, you went above and beyond, I loved this so much!!

For those who might be in New Jersey and need a place to host an event. The shower was at the Primavera in Stirling, New Jersey. It was perfect! The excellent staff and amazingly delicious food made the day that much more special.
