This and That

This week has been a pretty weird one for me. It's kinda strange not getting up every morning and going to work but it's given me a lot of time to do random productive things I've wanted to do. I've been able to do some Christmas shopping and just clean out my apartment. I feel refreshed. 

Anyways, here are just some random things that i wanted to share!

- I completed a Pinterest project! Here's the original project. It's pretty easy, all it is is tea lights in coffee beans. The heat of the candles makes the room smell like coffee andddd it looks so pretty, too!

- I finally used my crock pot!!! I found a recipe somewhere in the world of the internet for a chicken gumbo. I have never used a crock pot and I have never made gumbo before but it wasn't bad!! I've also never spent pretty much an entire day cooking one meal. Anyways, I can't wait to use it again! 

- Tuesday, Jeremy and I used this crazy ice machine contraption. I have never seen anything like this before, and of course, had to whip out the camera to document. Have you seen these things? It was like a shed in a parking lot that ice magically comes out of. 

 

- I got a lovely package that I won from a bloggy friend Krystina!! She blogs over at Cup 'a Hot Chocolate and she sent me hot chocolate!! It's so yummy, thanksss you!
