Let's Play in a Cotton Field

Ten Feet Off Beale - Let's Play in a Cotton Field

This may sound strange, and I don't even really have an explanation, but I absolutely love crop fields. Yes, fields full of rows and rows of crops. I am always amazed by the straight lines and wonder what each field is growing. Well, Jeremy thinks it's hilarious how excited I get when we drive by a corn field or a cotton field, but these are all new things to me. Where I grew up in New Jersey there weren't crops growing on the side of the road like you can find around here.

Since I have the best boyfriend ever, he took me to a cotton field see one up close. We just pulled over on the side of the road and got out - don't tell the farmer ;).

  1. You are too cute!! I remember being a little girl and daddy pulled over the car to show me how to "pick cotton". Gotta love the South!

  6. I don't think I've ever seen a cotton field. You would think they would have them around here somewhere (in TX)... maybe I'll have to go looking!

  11. So fun! I grew up in Louisiana and my best friend's dad was a cotton farmer. He let us play inside a trailer full of cotton!!! It was awesome, and one of my favorite childhood memories!
