New York, New York

Ten Feet Off Beale - New York

We spent Saturday in New York City showing Jeremy the city at Christmastime for the first time. Even though the tree hasn't been lit yet, the shoppers and tourists were bustling like crazy! Seeing New York at Christmas is something that cannot be described, you really have to see it to understand why people love it so much.

Even though I know that living in New York is absolutely not for me, there's just something about visiting the city, especially when there are Christmas decorations everywhere that's really special.

We walked around a whole lot and took Jeremy to see the Rockettes, which is something everybody should experience at some point in their life. We also went to Bobby Flay's restaurant, Bar Americain. Oh my yum.

  1. I could never live in NYC but a visit is so fun! And sometimes I imagine living there, esp watching movies. Jon has never been!

  2. I know what you mean when you say New York City is just not for you. But there is just something about the energy there that makes it an awesome place to visit. I can only handle a few days.

  4. You're definitely right, there's nothing like NYC during the holidays! I haven't been in a few years but your pictures make me want to go back! My favorite was seeing the tree and I think it was Saks on 5th Ave lit up with lights moving to the music! Glad you had a great time!
