Hard Work Pays Off

 Jeremy - -

You did it! You got the promotion you wanted. Since the day I met you you've been talking about working in this position at the YMCA, and now you have it. You've worked hard, and that has paid off. It's been a few weeks and even though you don't always know what's going on, you are very clearly happy. You love your job. That is something not many people can say. I am so happy your dreams are coming true. (wow, that was cheesy, but I mean it!)

Even though I don't necessarily like that you work more, I love how happy you are when you come home and how excited you are to tell me the things you've done. I mean, look at that huge smile on your face while you are helping those kids stretch before the t-ball clinic! There is no doubt in my mind that you are going to be amazing in this position. Have fun, you deserve it.

(( Remember the letter I wrote you when you first started working for YMCA? ))

- - Love you lots, Alyssa

PS. In case you were wondering, Jeremy is now the Director of Recreation and Marketing for the Olive Branch YMCA.
