This cute little Southern house is one of the locations of Gus's Fried Chicken. After church on Seersucker Sunday, we headed to Gus's for lunch. Boy, am I glad that I now eat chicken and could enjoy Gus's!! While the service wasn't the best, this was some seriously good fried chicken. Not to mention, the mashed potatoes were killer, too!
This might turn into a regular restaurant in our Sunday afternoon rotation.. so delicious!!

ReplyDeleteLooks like the cutest place ever! And delicious food?! I really need a trip down South soon :)
ReplyDeleteWe just ate at the downtown one last week. ; ) Love Gus'
ReplyDeleteI went to this location the first time I tried Gus's. It is such a cute little old house, and I was honestly surprised. I didn't think one fried chicken place could be that much better than another but it was so good. And I love all the other southern side options. I think I had the potato salad and it was good.
ReplyDeleteGus’s is good, but is too spicy for my wife’s tastes (she only had a small bite of a tender I brought home).
ReplyDeleteI know it’s not on the original 100 Things to Eat list, but Uncle Lou’s made Kerry’s 100 MORE Things to Eat.

Uncle Lou’s is more homestyle but they have the Sweet Spicy Love that’s good too.
I’m working through the same list too!!! Have them printed and hanging on my fridge.
