Town Square

Collierville Town Square // http://www.tenfeetoffbeale.com

I love town squares. I love the idea of a central location in a town where everything is located. A place where you don't have to drive, where you can walk and do everything you want to do.

While my heart ultimately belongs to downtown Memphis and all the charm you can find there, there's something about the Collierville town square that I love. Perhaps it's the old, still functioning gas station that looks exactly how it did when it opened in 1927. Or maybe it's the quaint little restaurants and shops. It might be the gazebo that occupies the center of the square. Whatever it might be, the Collierville town square is a great place to go walking at dusk.

  1. Oh I love town squares too! Collierville has a really nice one. You should venture up to the Covington square one Saturday and down the street of historical homes. Actually wait until heritage festival or Christmas time. It's the best. It's where I'm getting married this year :)

  2. Love the Collierville square! It is so cute and quaint. And I really love Mensi's which is just off the square. Best Milkshakes ever.

  6. What a beautiful place. Tennessee is on my list of places I want to see, but I like visiting smaller towns rather than big tourist spots. I'll have to keep Collierville in mind!
