Huzzah!! This weekend we were able to attend the inaugural Mid-South Renaissance Faire and it. was. awesome. Overall a great day of merriment and fun.
The Faire was at Shelby Farms and the theme was the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. There was period entertainment like jousting, musical performances, and juggling. There was maypole dancing, ice cream, and tomato throwing. Pirates, Mermaids, and Knights. Archery, turkey legs, and sword fighting. The Queen herself was even in attendance!
We're already looking forward to the next faire!
... Not to mention another reason to wear my flower crown again :)
