Prayer Request

Thanksgiving was a little bit different for my family this year. We spent most of the holiday weekend in the hospital with my Dad.

If you've been a Ten Feet Off Beale reader for a while, you might remember that my Dad has CLL, a type of leukemia. (You can read more here) Lately, it's been pretty rough for him. To put it simply, the treatments aren't working and the side effects of the disease are constantly needing to be treated.

I'm not going to get too much into it, but he could really use some prayers. Being in the hospital is no fun at all especially during the holidays.

In addition to this, I know my Mom could use some prayers as well. It isn't easy having my Dad in the hospital, I can only imagine how rough it would be to have a husband in the hospital. She spends most of her days by his side.

My family needs some encouraging. Thank you all for the incredible support you've given us in the past and for the support I know you'll keep giving us.

"Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made
known to God." [Philippians 4:6]

  12. Sending prayers to you and your family. My Dad just passed away in October after a six year battle against cancer. I can only imagine what you are going through right now especially since I just spent my first holiday (Thanksgiving) without him.
