Madewell

Last week I had the opportunity to head to our brand new Madewell store with a bunch of bloggers and shop. Yes, it was as fun as it sounds!

I am a horrible shopper. Sometimes I have trouble figuring out how things go together, this blogger event was exactly what I needed. I had a bunch of incredibly fashionable ladies picking out outfits fo me. It doesn't really get much better than that.

Actually, it does. There were Muddy's Cupcakes there, too.

I ended up buying a chambray top (I don't have one!), a cute pair of shorts, anddd a skirt. Definitely a successful shopping trip!

Can't wait for the next meetup, ladies!

Girl's Night

Yes, Saturday was girl's night. Not just any girl's night though, it was Memphis area bloggers girl's night! Phew! Man oh man did I have fun!!! My heart was bursting when I started driving home after meeting all of these amazing ladies. I can honestly say that lasting friendships were formed Saturday night... all because of blogging.

At one point, I stopped and looked around and just laughed at how funny it is that this entire table of women all came together because of the internet. This is just one of the many reasons I am thankful that I blog: the friendships.

I will say that I didn't read a bunch of these ladies blogs before we started planning this evening and I feel like I was missing out!!!

I Met Them On the Internet

 

Saturday I had the pleasure of hanging out with these lovely ladies.
We finally all got together to have a Memphis area blogger meetup!!!

We headed downtown to The Blind Bear and shared some drinks, cupcakes, stories, and lots of laughs. Even though I had never met these girl before, I felt like I knew them a little through their blogs and now I can actually call each and every one of them my friends.
 

 

And to you girls who couldn't make it, don't worry, we'll definitely be having more of these for sure!! So you all better come to the next one!!
