Weekend Away

Jeremy and I took a weekend trip to see some great friends who live in Franklin, TN. They had a baby in December and we finally got to meet baby Skylar!! She is absolutely adorable. It was nice having some baby time. Anyways, we spent alot of time just hanging out and catching up and baby snuggling. A perfect relaxing weekend, just what I needed.

On the way home, Jeremy and I did some sightseeing in West Nashville. I had never seen this part of the city and it was such a gorgeous day, so we walked around a bunch.

Parthenon
Parthenon
So there's a lifesize replica of the Parthenon... seems pretty random hah but it was actually kind of a cool thing to see!

Vandy
Baseball
We walked around Vanderbilt University's campus as well. We even got to see a tiny little bit of a baseball game until the ticket guy told us to leave because we didn't have any tickets. Oh well.

Tulips
Looks like Spring is here! The tulips were so open and so bright!

My New Neighbor

Jeremy is now officially a Mississippi resident (gasp!) and my brand new neighbor!
He moved into an apartment building a few over from mine.
Not only does that mean Jeremy is close by, but Harrison will be close by, too.
I'm sure there will be lots of walks in the park and to Sonic - which is conveniently right on the corner.
Jeremy will also be a good tornado buddy since he's a little bit calmer about the whole thing than me.

I'm so happy he moved in just in time for the nice weather! It's going to be a fun spring and summer.
It's a new chapter for us and I have a feeling it's going to be a good one.

You Inspire Me

I think it's truly incredible how many bloggers are so open about their religion and their faith. I spent a lot of time reading blog posts that were linked to last week's Cup Half Full post, and it's truly a remarkable thing.

They're not worried about being judged or offending anyone. They have an immense love for God and they aren't afraid to show it. They are genuine and kind and in my opinion, admirable.
Basically what I'm saying is, you ladies inspire me. You inspire me to be more open with my faith and my thoughts. People who love me will love me regardless of my beliefs, so why do I feel like I need to censor myself sometimes? In terms of the blog world, this is my blog, and I should be myself here in all aspects, regardless of what followers may think. I should express myself how I want and not worry so much about what my readers will think.

So, thanks to all of you for being my inspiration. I hope everyone has a fantastic week!
